Radu has over 16 years of experience with startup companies in the OFDM wireless space. He co-founded Hefaistos Inc. and Redline Communications (TSX Listed RDL), where he was CTO & VP of Engineering.
At Redline, he developed strategies and led the product development for a line of wireless OFDM/OFDMA access and backhaul solutions, including the first worldwide WiMAX certified base station and subscriber unit that created the foundation for Redline’s IPO. He held various technical and management positions in Redline like Engineering Director , VP of SW Development, VP of Engineering, and CTO
Throughout his career, Radu worked with IEEE and the WiMAX Forum and was instrumental in establishing global standards for wireless technologies.
He holds a Masters degree in Automation and Computer Science (Honors) from the University of Craiova, Romania.
